

Preceded in his passing by his wife Marie Kaselitz (ne: Ward) in 1969; his wife of 41 years Joan Kaselitz (ne: Ferney) in 2014, his sister Ruth Kanar and his daughter Renee Casale. He is survived by his daughters and son: Marilyn Frank and husband, Peter, grandsons, Eric and Brian, Susan Baker and husband, Roger Baker, grandson, Dustin and granddaughter, Crystal, Sherry Hart and husband, Timothy, granddaughter, Kelly and grandson, Ryan, Randi Griesmer, granddaughters, Jaclyn and Carly, Lori Williams and husband, Rick, grandson, Adam, granddaughters, Megan and Mickelle, Robbie Kaselitz, Steven Soderberg and wife, Cheryll, granddaughter, Kristin and grandson, Carter, grandchildren: Jeremy and Amy Hess, and five great-grandchildren.
Recently of Raleigh, N.C.-Bob and his family lived in Detroit, Michigan, Willis, Virginia and Moulton, Texas. Bob served as a Marine in WWII, serving in the war in the Pacific, including the Iwo Jima campaign where he was awarded the Bronze Star. After the war, he was a postal worker in the city of Detroit. After retirement from the Postal Service in 1974, Bob and his wife became horse breeders with farms in Virginia and then Texas. They moved to Raleigh in 2012. He has the gift of gab and loved visiting with everyone he met. He will be missed by everyone fortunate enough to have known him.
A funeral service will be held Friday, March 6, 2015 at 12:00 p.m. at Brown-Wynne Funeral Home, 1701 E. Millbrook Rd., Raleigh with a visitation one hour prior. Military honors will be present. A graveside service will take place on Sunday, March 8, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. in Moulton, Texas.
