Missing you Dad. One year today you left us to be with God. It has been a sad year with alot of voids in our lives. The boys talk about you all the time. I pray that you are with God, happy and at peace. Love always.

Dear Grandpa,
 I know it was your time to pass and go to heaven but I just wanted to let you know that I loved you and I am sad that you had to die so early. I am glad that you were there for me whether it was at soccer games or the Wensdays that you picked me up from my bus stop. I will miss the card games we use to play. You will always be with me at my side throughout my life.

TO DAD
I love you Dad and always will. We had so many great times together that every time I turn around I see something and think of you. Since your passing I have been doing something around the house and think I need to call Dad and talk with you. Like Mom always is in my thoughts and prayers you too will now be there as well. Thank you so much for instilling in me the things that matter most in this world.  I am a better person because of you and Mom. I only hope and pray that I can do the same with John and Nathan. I have a good guide from you on how things should be. 
I will miss our Wednesday dinners, Saturday and Sunday sporting events, Sunday Church and lunch following, you calling to talk with me.  Just last night the phone rang while we were relaxing and watching a movie and my first thought was it was you and then I realized that it could not be because we had just had your funeral that morning. I miss hearing your voice and discussing things with you.
I will miss all our Christmas activities that we use to do together like making cookies, taking the boys to see Santa and eating at the Kanki afterwards, going to church Christmas eve and then heading out to the Outback for dinner and coming over on Christmas day for dinner and you would play with the boys new toys like you were a child yourself.  Easter will be a challenging for years to come. We always decorated eggs together, went to Easter Mass and would follow up with lunch and egg hunts with the boys. Hillridge farm next year will not be the same without you there. There are so many things that we will miss sharing with you.You were with us no matter what. You would plan your hikes and other activities around our family events. 
I will miss you every day of my life and cannot wait until I see you again. I love you and miss you so much. I pray that you are in Heaven with Mom. Ann

My condolences to the Drago family. I hiked with Ron for several years, sometimes just the two of us and always appreciated his wealth of knowledge about the forest, both on and off trail and all it's flora and fauna.  He will be missed as he brought much enjoyment to many.  Rest in peace Ron.

Thanks to Ron I made many friends hiking in North Carolina.  He graciously gave his time and skills so that others could enjoy the beautiful trails of NC.  I will think of him fondly whenever I hike in Umstead, as he taught me all of the trails there.  May his memory be a blessing and his soul rest in eternal peace.

I am so very sorry to hear of Ron's passing.  I have many fond memories of him from the beginnings of the hiking group, started about 12 years ago.  We sometimes rode to the hikes together in his red convertible and both loved to walk fast and shared many interesting conversations.  He was a wonderful person and I've remembered him often in the years since I moved from Raleigh.  My thoughts and prayers are with you at this sad time.

I am sorry to hear of your loss.  I went on a hike with Ron and a few other people once and we had a lot of fun and Ron was a wealth of information about all the foliage and plants in the forest.  I am sure his soul is happily hiking around Heaven now.  God Bless him and your family.

Ron was a wonderfully kind and thoughtful man who was very educated about so many things.  He opened his heart to many as we walked and hiked the woods and trails of the Triangle.  I pray that he is at peace. His spirit will continue on forever!

Our deepest sympathies to Ron's family. He was a wonderful neighbor when we we lived in Raleigh. We will always remember how much he loved his family, his garden and hiking. Ron will be greatly missed. May God comfort you at this very sad time.

Ron was a good neighbor and very soft spoken. He was kind to our family and he shared with us his tomatoes. Will miss his geneosity and friendliness.

I was so impressed with Ron's excellent sense of direction in the woods.  He led me on many hikes starting in July of this year after I retired at the end of June.  I will surely miss him and his well planned hikes.  My condolences to the family.

I met your Mom and Dad when they  moved here,for my husband also worked at EPA.I usually sing with the funeral choir but I am in California visiting family, otherwise I would be there. I'm so sorry to hear about Ron.  He will surely be missed.  I started hiking with him shortly after we moved here to Raleigh, and still saw him frequently at our Friday brunches.  He was always kind and considerate to everyone. And we all knew he was a proud, devoted grandfather.  My condolences to all his family.
