Mrs. Grinstead was born in Virginia on May 8, 1949 to Willie and Florine Hicks. She is survived by her husband, Sam Grinstead; her sons, Robert L. Brame Jr. and wife Susan Hill of Holly Springs and Bryant Brame and wife Jennifer of Wendell; 2 grandchildren, Trey and Skyler Brame; her sister, Ann McRoy and husband Jackie.
She is preceded in death by her sister, Linda Hicks Neal.
A visitation will be held from 2:30 to 4:00 pm with a memorial service directly to follow on Saturday, February 15, 2014 at Brown-Wynne Funeral Home, Raleigh.
