Marie enjoyed traveling with family on cruises to the Caribbean, Alaska, Hawaii, and Jamaica.
One of her great loves was watching her great grandson, Zachary, play high school basketball, AAU and summer league. She never missed a game or tournament. She knew the players by name and even after graduation the boys still acknowledged her with hugs.
She enjoyed attending every event that her grandkids or great grandkids participated in whether it be basketball, baseball, track, dance, singing, or cheerleading.
Marie loved spending time with her friends whether they were playing Progressive Rummy, going to lunch/dinner or going to the casino. Another favorite thing to do was shop and she loved dark chocolate.
Marie Schoelen was loved by many and all. She will be greatly missed.
