George is survived by his wife, Lois Barnes.

A funeral service for George will be held Monday, May 22, 2023 at 11:00 AM at Northern California Veterans Cemetery, 11800 Gas Point Road, Igo, CA. A memorial service will occur Tuesday, May 23, 2023 at 11:00 AM at Sunrise Bible Fellowship, 956 Jackson Street, Red Bluff, CA.

George will be laid to rest in Northern California Veterans Cemetery, 11800 Gas Point Road, Igo, CA.

Serving as pallbearers are Jerry Barnes, Greg Barnes, Al Bordeau, Joe Cash, Tom McVay and Cliff Rowen.
