LYLE EDWARD HENCRATT November 22, 1937 ~ January 12, 2015 Lyle was born in a maternity home on Walnut Street, Red Bluff, to Leslie "Bud" Lemuel Hencratt and Gladys James Hencratt. He attended one room School houses west of Red Bluff in the Hunter District, Reeds Creek District, Cottonwood Elementary and graduated from Anderson High School in 1956. Lyle met his wife Gale in high school and they married in 1958. They had two children, Dave and Dan and lived happily ever after. Lyle was an avid outdoorsman, a cattleman and a horseman. Lyle was preceded in death by his parents, brother Leslie and sister Betty. Lyle is survived by his wife of 56 years, Gale, sons Dave (Laquin), Dan (Jody), and grandchildren, Blair (Bekah), Brooke, Betsy and Cara. Graveside services will be held at the Cottonwood Cemetery on January 20, 2015, at 10:00AM. A reception will follow at the Cottonwood Community Center.
