Marie Andersen Goodwin

Marie A. Goodwin passed away at the age of 95 on October 29, 2024 at her home in Red Bluff, California. Marie was born in Gerber, California to parents Chris and Wilma Andersen. She is survived by her daughters Karen & Barry Hart, Lisa & Mike Worley and Diane & Mike Hoss, 7 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. There are two surviving sisters, Hazel Pluim and Myrna Whatley and several nieces and nephews. She was preceeded in death by her husband of 65 years Arthur Goodwin and siblings Merton Andersen, Viola Dyson and Liz Brunk.

Marie was a resident of Tehama County for over 50 years and also spent 45 years in Springfield, Oregon. She retired from the Tehama County Assessor and Tax Collector's office after 23 years and was a lifetime charter member of the Red Bluff Emblem Club. Extracurricular activities were many including fishing, hunting, bowling, baking cookies and pies or spending time at Biscuit Flat, Shasta Lake and hunting camp in Paisley, OR. Most recently she spent as much time as possible watching sporting events and band concerts for her many great-grandkids. She was also an avid Oregon Duck and San Francisco Giant fan.

Graveside services wil be held at Oak Hill Cemetary on Monday November, 25, 2024 at 2:00 PM with a gathering to be held afterwards at the First Church of God at the corner of Luther and South Jackson in Red Bluff.
