

Richard DeGraw Richard Guy DeGraw passed away and went to be with his Lord, in his own home on Thanksgiving morning, 11/27/25. He was the son of Thelma & Lee DeGraw of Red Bluff, His wife, Roberta and daughter Pamala were at his bedside. Richard was born at Saint Elizabeth Hospital on main street in Red Bluff on July 7, 1939. He had one older sister Thelma, and three brothers Warren, Thomas and Carlin. He was raised in the Antelope area on Sykes Ave, and attended Antelope Elementary until 1953. He liked 4H and was a 4H all-star. His projects were usually hogs and sheep. He started at Red Bluff High in 1953 and belonged to FFA. He enjoyed football, and played for three years. He lettered in his senior year. After high school, he joined the navy for four years. He was stationed on the USS Ranger as second class electrician mate. He was Honorably discharged in 1962 and went to work at Diamond National in Red Bluff making egg cartons and paper plates. He worked as a head electrician for 40 years. He married Roberta Tibbs and adopted the two daughters LaDeanne (Stubbs) and Pamala (Lane). Later in 1966 he had a son Jeffrey Richard DeGraw, he lived 5 days and went home to be with his Lord. He then bought a small house on 5 acres in the El Camino area. He raised his family and then started helping to raise his grandchildren. Shuree Boling, Jeremy Stubbs, Amberle Paul. Later his great-grandchildren were born and they too were loved dearly by Richard (Papa). He loved to visit and care for each one, Jourdaan Lane, Kyle Boling, Caera Boling, The last great-grandchild Richard got to see was two-year old Tyler Stubbs who visited him in bed before he went to be with his Lord. During all this time, Since 1973 he worked at his church and loved his Lord. Richard was a good man who loved the young and all he met. Service Times: December 13, 2025, Graveside, Oak Hill Cemetery, 600 Cemetery Ln, at 10:00am Family and close friends are invited. Memorial service will be at 11:00am at Calvary Chapel, 2375 Paskenta Rd, Red Bluff, CA 96080. Snacks will be served.
