Roberta was born to Morris and Florence Scarborough in Minneapolis, Minnesota on April 25, 1940. Throughout her life, she lived in San Francisco, Sonoma County and finally settled in Red Bluff for her remaining 25 years.
Roberta spent her working years doing office work and Bookkeeping. She attended Church of Christ, enjoyed Genealogy, reading, and was an avid dog lover. Throughout her life, she also held positions in organizations such as: Daughters of the American Revolution, Daughters of the Union and Veterans of the Civil War.
Roberta is survived by her loving husband of 62 years, Roy E. Lewis, and her daughter Diana Douglas (Tom), 4 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her father, mother and sister.
A visitation will be held on Sunday, January 6, 2019 from 5-8 pm at Hoyt-Cole Chapel of the Flowers in Red Bluff, CA. Her funeral Service will be held Monday, January 7, 2019, 9:00 am at Hoyt-Cole Chapel of the Flowers with a burial following at the Northern California Veterans Cemetery in Igo, CA.
