She was a resident of Corning, California.

Velena is survived by her daughters Kerrie Hagens, Debbie Madison, Janet Zander, and Carla Jackson. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-grandchild.

A funeral service will be held at High Point Assembly, located at 625 Luther Rd, Red Bluff, CA, 96080, on December 2, 2025, from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm.
