Brian was a lifelong resident of Shasta County. He graduated from Shasta High School in 1975, then attended Shasta College. He loved his family, friends, a good Scotch, and the outdoors (he was an avid fisherman and hunter). Some of his greatest memories were packing into the Trinity Alps with his family, growing up with his cousins and sister, being a member of the Shasta County Sheriff's Posse, and spending time with friends.
Some of Brian's greatest characteristics were his positive attitude, verve for life, and his smile/laugh could light up any room. He began his working years at McDonald's Chapel working for his parents, and then moved to Montgomery Creek, Ca, where he ran and operated Hillcrest Orchards and Balma Excavating. In 1988 he and his wife moved back to Redding, where Brian worked in construction. He worked in the Construction Industry for the remainder of his career.
