David Earl Walker

April 22, 1947 - September 17, 2014

David Walker passed away peacefully at home, Wednesday, September 17, 2014, with his wife, Marilyn Walker, of 43 years beside him at the age of 67.

Born April 22, 1947 in Bakersfield, CA to Jason and Edgle Walker.

He is survived by his wife, Marilyn Walker, son's Kevin Walker (Susan), Robert Walker (Tina), sister's Rose Galvan (Donald) and Earline Harris (Jack), sister-in-law Debbie McCarley, grandchildren, Lillian Walker, Colton Walker, Kaleb Cowley, Aurora Cowley, Ashley Walker, Joshua Walker, Tyler Walker, Christie Cruse, Sean McPherson and Michael McPherson, Nicholas Diel, and Colby Elquist, and five great grandchildren. He also leaves behind several nieces and nephews.

He is predeceased by his parents Jason and Edgle Walker, brother Cecil Walker and in-laws, Bentley and Sonia Mathews.

David was a big strong and gentle man and will be missed by all. David was a friend to many and a car enthusiast and was a member of the Redding Area Corvette Enthusiasts (RACE), the Shasta Classics and the California American Muscle (CAM) car clubs. David was a Past Master of Western Star Lodge No. 2 in Old Shasta, CA.

A celebration of life will be held at the Mountain Shadows Mobile Home Park Club House, 4476 Hoopa Path, Redding, CA on October 4, 2014 from 11 am-4 pm.
