Lester E. West passed away on April 14, 2013 at approximately 10:00 P.M. His place of residence at the time was Marquis Care At Shasta, on Churn Creek Rd.
He leaves behind his daughter, Joyce Huffman, two sisters, Maxine and Dottie, and a sister-in-law, Lolly, all of Oregon, numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Lester lived in and around Redding for approximately fifty years, with his wife Violet, and a son David, who passed away n December 2012.
