Lois Richardson

Lois J. Richardson passed away at the age of 83 on May 24, 2012 at her home in Anderson, CA. Lois was born on July 2,1928 in Lakeview, Oregon to Ira and Lillian Smith. She was preceded in death by her husband Clint, her parents Ira and Lillian Smith, her stepfather Warren Osborn, and her brothers Spencer and Wayne Smith.

She leaves behind her sister Kathy Sherburn; three daughters: Pat Quint, Beverly (Robby) Tisci and Deb (Rick) Webb; five grandchildren: Mike (Carolyn) Smith, Nicky Quint, Nicholas Tisci, Jeremy (Julie) Webb, and Jaime (C.J.) Aldrich, and four great-grandchildren: Hannah and Tanner Aldrich, Jacob and Daniel Smith, and a great grandchild that is due October 2012 to Jeremy and Julie Webb. She also leaves behind many other extended family members and special friends. Lois was a member of the retail clerks for 30 years. She volunteered at Verde Vale Elementary School as a foster grandma. She loved her home, gardening, crocheting and ceramics. She enjoyed dancing and traveling with Mac Titoni and socializing with special friends at the Redding and Anderson Senior Citizen Center and the Moose Lodge.

In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations to the American Cancer Society in the name of Lois J. Richardson.
