1937 ~ 2014
Wendy Brooks Long time Happy Valley resident, and business owner died of congestive heart failure on Sunday, March 23rd, 2014 at Shasta Regional Hospital.
She is survived by her sister Ciel Bearth of St. Paul, Minnesota, her son Cary Lyons (Alicia), of Redding, her daughter Jody Lynn Calkins, (John) of Seattle, WA., her step children, Brenda Coffey (Wayne) of Hartlake, VA, Debra Bowen (Roger) of Northridge, California and Mark Brooks of Hollywood, California as well as grandchildren Robert, Michael, Stephen, John, Melissa, Wilson and Roman and great grandchildren Alexander and Madelyn.
Her husband Carleton Brooks predeceased her.
Wendy enjoyed being with family and friends, especially her best friend Susan Randolph of Bend, Oregon. She also loved to shop and spend time gardening.
Wendy was loved by her family and friends, and will be greatly missed.
