Barbara Shinn Beazley

Barbara Shinn Beazley, 78, of Varina, passed away Wednesday, August 31, 2016. She was a member of Ft. Lee Baptist Church where she was actively involved in WMU, and also a member of the American Legion auxiliary. Barbara is preceded in death by her husband, Walter M. Beazley; parents, Lucille and Sherman Shinn; and brother, Johnnie Shinn. She is survived by her children, Debbie Christopher (Joe), Chris Beazley (Bev), Cathy Fulwider (Johnnie), Johnny Beazley (Wendy); grandson, Justin Fulwider; granddaughters, Jessica Fulwider, Kelsey Beazley, Kayla Beazley, Kenzie Beazley, and Kori Beazley; step-grandchildren, Ashton Quick (Joey), Jason Burgess (Kelly), and India Pietenpol (Scott); great-step-grandchildren, Mason Quick, Brodie and Berkley Pietenpol, Caroline and Phoebe Burgess; siblings, Donald Shinn, Linda Moss, and devoted sister Pat Henshaw (Ellis); and many nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends Sunday, September 4, 2016 from 2-4p and 6-8p at Nelsen Funeral Home Laburnum. A graveside service will be held Monday, September 5, 2016 at 11am at Four Mile Creek Baptist Church: 2950 New Market Road, Henrico, VA 23231.
