Barbara “Bobbi” Schneider Vass, 92, of Quinton, formerly of Richmond, passed away on Sunday, November 7, 2021.

Bobbi retired from Bell Atlantic-Verizon and was a longtime member of Fraternal Order of Police Auxiliary and the Marine Corps League Auxiliary.

Left to cherish her memory are her husband of 71 years, Joseph A. Vass, Jr.; sister, Doris Steinbrecher; nieces, Cindy Murphy and Sandra Rosner of Tampa, Fla.; and numerous extended family members and friends.

The family will receive friends on Monday, November 15, 2021, from 4 to 6 p.m. at Nelsen Funeral Home, 4650 S. Laburnum Ave., Richmond, Va. 23231, where a service will be held on Tuesday, November 16, 2021, at 2 p.m. Interment will follow in Washington Memorial Park.
