Barbara Turner Ralston died on September 3rd in Quinton, Virginia at the age of 84. She is survived by her husband, Joseph; sons Eric and Steven; grandchildren Brenna, Steven, John, Michael and Hunter; nieces and cousins. She is preceded in death by parents Virginia and Willie Turner; and siblings Betty Loving, Robert and Richard Turner. Barbara was born January 14th, 1931 in Washington, DC. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and friend. Barbara enjoyed dancing, travel, researching her genealogy and spoiling her grandchildren. Barbara had a soft spot in her heart for animals and a strong connection with her dog Jennie, who always put a smile on her face. She is deeply missed by her loved ones, who celebrate that she is at peace. Graveside services will be held in Greenwood Memorial Gardens at 1:00pm on Tuesday, September 8th, Pastor Rob Edwards of New Bridge Baptist Church officiating.
