Brenda Lee Whitlock, 76, of Highland Springs, passed away on Tuesday, June 6, 2017. She was preceded in death by her son, Kenneth R. Turner. Left to cherish her memory are her husband of 35 years, Thomas J. Whitlock; sons, William A. Turner (Lynda) and Jerald L. Turner (Robin); stepdaughter, Mary Hamilton; five grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, several stepgrandchildren; sister, Sharon Ferrell (Mike); and numerous friends. The family would like to extend their gratitude to her caregivers for their loving care. The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. on Friday, June 9, at Nelsen Funeral Home, 4650 S. Laburnum Ave., Richmond, Va. 23231, where a funeral service will take place at 10 a.m. on Saturday, June 10. Interment will follow in Washington Memorial Park.
