She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Bowry; father, Hugh James; mother, Geneva Pickeral; and brother, Jesse James.
Connie was a member of Elizabeth Ann Seton Church.
She is survived by her daughters, Robin Crews (Mark Lane) and Kathy Stowe; grandson, Daniel Phillips (Madelin); great grandson, Sebastian Phillips.
The family will receive friends Tuesday, July 23 from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. at Nelsen Funeral Home, 4650 S. Laburnum Ave, Richmond, VA. 23231. A graveside service will be held Wednesday, July 24 at 1 p.m. at Washington Memorial Park, 6217 Memorial Drive, Sandston, VA 23150.
