WACKER, Charles F. T., 89, of Highland Springs, passed away on Sunday, August 7, 2016. Charles was a Coast Guard veteran and retired master electrician. He was preceded in death by his wife of 64 years, Janet M. Wacker. Left to cherish his memory are his daughter, Janice W. Felker (Rick); son, Mark Wacker (Rosanne Minerva); grandchildren, Rich Felker, Steven Felker and Johanna Wacker; four great-grandchildren; and sister, Joyce Nuckols. A funeral service will be held at Nelsen Funeral Home, 4650 S. Laburnum Ave., Richmond, Va. 23231 on Sunday, August 14, at 2 p.m. with a visitation one hour prior. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project or St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. Interment will be private at Oakwood Cemetery.
