Charlotte Mabel Best Osborne, 79, of Henrico, went to be with our Lord on Monday, June 26, 2017. Born in Goochland, Va., on May 12, 1938, she was preceded in death by her parents, Isaac W. and Bessie F. Best; brothers, Isaac Jr., Eddie Lee, Robert, Floyd “Pete” and Vernon; and sister, Louise Anis. She is survived by her husband, William F. Osborne; five children, Aubrey E. Toler (Tammy), Brenda T. Bragg (Raymond), Clayton R. Toler, Lawrence D. Toler and Tina O. Leftwich (Ronald); eight grandchildren, Isaac M. Bragg, Sarah C. Bragg, Christopher E. Toler, Cory R. Toler, Charlene G. Toler, L. Dale Toler, Stephanie B. Florian (Jorge) and Brittany M. Brown; seven great-grandchildren; brothers, Earl Best of Goochland and Harvey Best of Richmond; sisters, Audrey “Sissy” Moyer of Nelson and Geraldine Ragland of Fife; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be on Friday, June 30, from 6 to 8 p.m., at Nelsen Funeral Home, 4650 S. Laburnum Ave., Richmond, Va. 23231, where services will be held on Saturday, July 1, at 12 noon. Interment will follow in Washington Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital or cancer research.
