

MARSHALL, Clyde Grayson, 80, of Sandston, passed away peacefully on Saturday, March 5, 2016 at his home, with the help of hospice. He was preceded in death by his parents, Irvin and Madeline Marshall; and his three brothers, Bill, Pem, and Wallace Marshall. Clyde and his brothers worked together as bricklayers, and after 35 years Clyde retired to become a building inspector for Henrico County for 15 years. Clyde loved spending time in his backyard, where he planted the nicest garden that amazed all those who enjoyed it. He is survived by his beloved wife of 57 years, Marie Marshall; his sons Douglas (Michele), and Randy Marshall; his daughters, Sandra Marshall, and Brenda Vaughan; 8 grandchildren; and 3 great grandchildren. He was a member of the Sandston Moose Lodge #1937. Visitation will be held at Nelsen Funeral Home Laburnum Wednesday, March 9, 2016 from 2-4 pm and 6-8 pm, and Thursday March 10, 2016 from 2-4 pm and 6-8 pm. A Moose Pilgrim Memorial Service will be held during Wednesday’s evening visitation. Services will be held at Nelsen Funeral Home Laburnum Friday, March 11, 2016 at 10 am with interment to follow at Washington Memorial Park.
