Clyde Long Pitts, Jr.

PITTS, Clyde Long, Jr., 68, of Mechanicsville passed away on Friday, March 23, 2018. He was preceded in death by his parents, Clyde and Nancy Pitts, Sr. as well as his sister Nancy Vance. Left to cherish his memory are his wife of 48 years, Diane Pitts; children, Lisa Beggs (Jim), Michelle Pitts, Angela Windett (Ron), and Clyde Pitts, III (Debbie); and nine grandchildren. A visitation will be held on Tuesday from 2pm to 4pm and from 6pm to 8pm at Nelsen Funeral Home, 4650 S. Laburnum Ave., Richmond, Va., 23231. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday at 11am in the funeral home chapel with interment to follow at Forest Lawn Cemetery. Reception to follow at the Nelsen Reception Center.
