Cecil, Doris Lee Walker, age 84, of Sandston, VA went home to our Lord on Saturday, March 29 2014. She was preceded in death by her husband, Emmett Cecil. She is survived by her daughter, Carolyn Burrows; two grandsons, Harry Burrows, Jr.(Michele), Jeffrey Burrows; one great grandson, Caiden Burrows; and a brother, Douglas Walker of Reedsville, VA. She was a member of New Bridge Baptist Church and Phebe Sunday School class. Visitation will be held Monday March 31, 2014 from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Nelsen Funeral Home, 4650 S. Laburnum Ave, Richmond, VA 23231 where services will be held on Tuesday April 1, 2014 at 2 p.m. Interment will be at Washington Memorial Park.
