Edgar Earl Williams, Jr. (Buddy) 91, of Quinton, VA passed peacefully on Monday, December 11, 2017. He was preceded in death by his son, Steven Earl; daughter, Sherry W. Shannon; and brothers, Emory and Forrest. He is survived by his devoted wife of 67 years, Betty W. Williams; daughter, Debra W. Bull (John) of King William County, VA; son-in-law, Steven D. Shannon of Walkerton, VA; grandchildren, Steve Colton Bull, Allegra and Graham Shannon; great-grandson, Liam Bull; brother, John S. Williams of Mechanicsville, VA. Buddy served in the U. S. Navy during WW II. He attended RPI (VCU). He was an “avid” golfer at Glenwood and Brookwoods Golf Courses, where he will be remembered as always ready to play. A Memorial Service will be held Sunday, Dec. 17, 2017 at 3 p.m. at Kentwood Heights Baptist Church, 2607 New Kent Highway, Quinton, VA.
