RIP Erich. Wish I had known about your passing sooner. You brought so much laughter and music to so many . I was only a teen when we met but you where loved by the young and older generation alike. Wherever you went you brought joy. Loved when you brought your accordion along because where ever you showed up with it there would be laughter and dancing and fun people around and of course Christl at your side also always supporting what you did. Will miss you my friend.

He played this awsome music for us and it always made us forget some of the bad things around us for a while. Home was always as close as his Akordion . Now he played for God and Angel. He will be missed.
My condolences to his Wife and family.

Deepest Sympathies to all of you. Erich was such a joy to see every year when we came to Richmond for the Oktoberfest. When our mother was alive they would have long conversation over glass or two of wine.
All of us at Reineckers Bakery will miss him.

I only met Mr. Albus once, at the Walmart on 9 mile rd, about a year or two ago. I was softly humming a Beatles tune while browsing in one of the aisles and he came up to me smiling and said..."its so nice to hear someone singing." We had a bit of a conversation and he told me a little about himself and that he played the accordion. He was such a sweet man. He made a lasting impression, and I thought to myself..." I want to be more like this guy." RIP Erich.

To Christel and Family,
I share your pain in our loss of Erich. What a wonderful friend and example he was, and we (members of the German Speaking Damenklub) were all truly blessed to have him in our hearts and lives. He got never tired entertaining us at the Oktoberfest, Christmas, Veterans' Hospital, and our homes. May God help us all as we adjust to being without him. We shall never forget him.

Good Bye Erich, I will miss you very much!
We had some good times together, playing the Accordion for over 30 years without ever practicing.
I will always think of you.
With fond memories,
Gisela
