

Fleming Everett Wallace, of Sandston, passed away, Wednesday, December 4, 2013. Wallace is survived by his wife, Shari; brother, Roy Fleming (Wilma) of Winston Salem, N.C.; children; E. W. Fleming II (Diane) of Mechanicsville; Rhonda Inge (Thomas), Lynda Fleming, Brenda Cope, C. Wayne Fleming (Karen Fortune) of Sandston; two step-children, Trevor and Deirdre Domayer; six grandchildren, Dustin Inge, Nicole Mitchell (Ryan), Susan McCarthy (Shaun), Robert Fleming, Kasey and Taylor Shirley; step-grandchild, Sharon Abel; four great-grandchildren, Rieley and Cohen McCarthy, Mariah Lewis, and Levi Mitchell. He is preceded in death by his first wife, and the mother of his children, Shirley Jean Fleming. Wallace retired from VDOT with 38 years of service, was a Scottish Rite Mason, and a member of Thomas N. Davis Lodge No. 351; where he was a Past Master and Treasurer. He had served as a deacon at Carlisle Avenue Baptist Church, Kentwood Heights Baptist Church, and was a current member at New Bridge Baptist Church. The family will receive friends on Saturday, December 7, 2013 from 2-4 pm and 6-8 pm, with a Masonic Service to be held at 5:45 pm, at Nelsen Funeral Home, 4650 S. Laburnum Ave., Richmond, VA 23231. A funeral service will be conducted on Monday, December 9, 2013 at 11 am at New Bridge Baptist Church, 5701 Elko Rd, Sandston, VA 23150. Internment in Washington Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers please send contributions to the Masonic Home of VA, or New Bridge Baptist Church.
