Dorn, George Marcus, Jr., 88, of Highland Springs, passed away Monday, February 9, 2015 to be with his Lord and Savior. He was preceded in death by his son, Wayne M. Dorn. During WWII, George served in the Navy during the South Pacific campaign. He enjoyed fishing and, most of all, playing music with his friends. Mr. Dorn is survived by his wife, Mary E. Dorn of 69 years; his son, Gerald L. Dorn; two grandchildren, Erick Dorn and his wife, Sonya, and Tasha Montero; and three great-grandchildren, Victoria Dorn, Brittany and Tristen Montero. The family will receive friends on Thursday, February 12th from 2-4pm and 6-8pm at Nelsen Funeral Home, 4650 S. Laburnum Ave., Richmond, VA 23231; where a funeral service will be conducted on Friday, February 13th at 2 pm. Interment to follow in Washington Memorial Park.
