Gracy Vaughan Campbell

Gracy Vaughan Campbell, 101, of Henrico Va. went to her heavenly home on Sunday, January 5, 2025. She was preceded in death by her parents Buford H. and Sallie B. Vaughan, her husband of 47 years, Jack Campbell and siblings James, Virginia, Chester, Willie and Margaret. She is survived by her sister Frances Palmer, children Gregg Campbell and Karen Hargadine, her grandchildren Matthew Campbell (Ruby), Rachael Campbell, Megan Hargadine and Jessica BlindEagle (William) and great grandchildren Tia Hargadine and Grayson BlindEagle.

Gracy grew up in a farming community in Halifax County, VA before moving to Richmond. She was employed by the Federal Reserve Bank of Richmond and retired after 29 years.

Gracy will be remembered by many for her Christian faith and her loving and generous spirit. She was a member of Hardy Central Baptist Church.

The family appreciates the attention and care given to Gracy by the staff of Harmony at Hanover and with gratitude to Danielle Delgado for her unwavering love, compassion and attentiveness.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, January 16th from 2 to 6 pm at Nelsen Funeral Home (Laburnum Ave.). The service will be held at 2 pm on Friday, Jan. 17th at Nelsen Funeral Home.
