

He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Mildred Farmer.
Snookie was a graduate of Highland Springs High School and worked as a sheet metal mechanic for Industrial Sheet Metal and Rueben & Burton. He later received his realtor license and worked for Roy Groome Construction & Realty. Snookie had a life-long passion for racing and he was a Virginia State Champion for 2 years in a row. Snookie also had a love of antique cars; he especially enjoyed his 1940 Ford Coupe.
Left to cherish his memory are his children, Sheila Kagi (Paul), Harvey Lee “Bubba” Farmer Jr. (Donna “Little Bit” Hamilton), Bonnie Garrett (Raymond); grandchildren, Crystal, Lynn, Allison, Clayton, Jamie; four great-grandchildren; brothers, Bobby Farmer, Donnie Farmer (Margaret); nieces; nephews; and loving, devoted companion, Judy Foxwell.
The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, March 8, at Nelsen Funeral Home, 4650 S. Laburnum Ave., Richmond, Va. 23231, where a funeral service will be held on Wednesday, March 9, at 2 p.m.
Interment will follow in Washington Memorial Park.
