Roberts, James L. “Cotton”, 83, departed this life on August 15, 2014. He was preceded in death by his wife of 63 years, Barbara Roberts; daughter, Mary Fisher; and son-in-law, Oscar Watson. Cotton leaves to cherish his loving memory three daughters, Pauline Pollard (Wayne), Sandy Watson, and Bobbie Harrison (Steve); one sister, Barbara Ann Weatherford; six grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; and one great great-grandchild. The family will receive friends Monday, August 18 from 1pm to 2pm; followed by a Celebration of Life at Sandston Baptist Church, 100 W. Williamsburg Rd. Sandston, VA 23150. Interment will be private.
