Janice Lee Apperson-McDaniel

Janice happily enjoyed caring for her family, and attending New Kent Baptist Church. Early on in life, she enjoyed singing, spending time with her family and “showing her many blessings” to all who knew her well.

Left to cherish her memory are her beloved husband of 61 years Kirby McDaniel; children Lee (Bobbi), Dennis (Sharon), and Glenn (Angie); son-in-law Randy Underwood; grandchildren Stephen, Dennis Jr., Glenn, and Greg McDaniel, Alyse Tomes, Angela Chavis and Randy Underwood Jr.; Sixteen Great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews and friends. A special thanks to all of her extended family at Henrico Health Care, we could not have made it through this journey without you.

Services will be held on Tuesday, June 3, 2013, 11:00 am at Highland Springs Church of Christ. 416 South Kalmia Ave. Highland Springs Virginia 23075. Interment will be at Oakwood Cemetery, Richmond, VA. In memory of Janice, please make a charitable donation to the Cancer Society of Richmond or Henrico Co. Mental Health.
