Jeanne May Starke, 83, of Mechanicsville passed away Wednesday, January 21, 2015. She was predeceased by her parents, Horace Matthew and Elsie May Wilkerson. She was a long time member of Calvary United Methodist Church and was a member of the Calvary Helpers Circle. She is survived by her husband of 59 years, Milton E. “Moe” Starke; two sons, Cary L. Starke (Heather) and Steve M. Starke (Tana); and three grandchildren, Victoria May “Tori” Starke, Matthew B. “Matt” Starke and Brittany L. Starke. The family will receive friends Sunday, Jan. 25, from 2 to 5 p.m. at Nelsen Funeral Home, 4650 S. Laburnum Ave., Richmond, VA 23231. A funeral service will be conducted Monday, Jan. 26, at 11 a.m. at Calvary United Methodist Church with a reception immediately following the service.
