CERVENAK, John “Kim” Kimbrough, 65, of Highland Springs, VA passed away at his home on Wednesday, November 19, 2014. He was born in Petersburg, VA and raised in Middlesex County, New Jersey before returning to Virginia in 1994. John served in the Army and had two tours during the Vietnam War where he received a Bronze Star and Commendation Medal. He is survived by his loving and faithful wife, Roberta Respess; three daughters, Sarah Jane and her husband, Marc Derro, Mary Ellen and her husband, Matthew Lechelt, Elizabeth Cervenak and her fiancé, John Hallanan; two sisters, Jill Rose, Susanne and her husband John Allison; three grandchildren, Halle, Kate and Edison; and his godson, Dean. He also leaves behind nephews, nieces, cousins; as well as many dear friends. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 29, 2014 at 1:00PM at Nelsen Funeral Home, 4650 S.
