Judith Frye Taylor ,75, of Varina, passed away on Wednesday, April 26, 2017. She was a devoted wife and mother. Left to cherish her memory are her husband of 53 years, Edward Peyton Taylor; daughter, Robin Smith; grandson, Nicholas Zay Smith; stepchildren, Wayne Taylor (Sandie), Cathy Totty (Wayne) and Dwayne Taylor (Martha Jones); sisters, Rebecca Mullins, Patricia Miller and Sharon Harner (Michael); as well as numerous nieces, nephews and dear friends. The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. on Monday, May 1, 2017, at Nelsen Funeral Home, 4650 S. Laburnum Ave., Richmond, Va. 23231, where a funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. on Tuesday. Entombment will follow in Washington Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Richmond SPCA or your local Humane Society.
