Julie Haynes Rogers

Julie Ann Haynes Rogers, 62, of Mechanicsville, VA, passed away peacefully on October 1, 2022. She is survived by her son, Eric Parker Rogers; sisters, Jeri Haynes of Port Orange, Florida, Vickie Haynes Bowers (Bob) of Mechanicsville, and Donna Haynes Marx (Keath) of Fort Worth, Texas; aunts, Carol Cunningham Green of Newnan, GA, Joan Cunningham Gorsuch (Lee) of Jamestown, California, Lucille Haynes Ross of McCleney, FL; and a host of cousins. She was preceded in death by her father and mother, Alfred “Lefty” Haynes and Dayle Cunningham Haynes. Julie was a nurse at Henrico Doctors Hospital for 23 years and later worked at Virginia Endoscopy. The family will receive friends Thursday, October 6, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at Nelsen Funeral Home, 4650 South Laburnum Ave., where a funeral service will be held, Friday, October 7, at 2 p.m. Interment will follow at Washington Memorial Park, 6217 Memorial Drive., Sandston, Va. 23150.
