Kelly Newton Jenkins

Kelly Newton Jenkins, 53, of Chesterfield, passed away on October 20, 2021. She was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Jean Newton. She is survived by her daughter, Heather Nicole Cary, and her husband, Logan; sisters, Gloria J. Newton, Debbie N. Gilbert (John); nephews, Chris Gilbert (Meghan), Kevin Gilbert (Jamie); great nieces and nephews; Jim Jenkins; and dear friends, Cindy Berberich, Linda Price. Kelly worked for the Commonwealth of Virginia for 25 years (recently at DMAS). Remains rest at Nelsen Funeral Home, 4650 S. Laburnum Ave., Richmond, Va. 23231, where the family will receive friends on Sunday, October 24, from 4 to 8 p.m. A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, October 25, in Forest Lawn Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
