Lewis Mansfield Jenkins

Jenkins, Lewis Mansfield, 88, of Henrico, born May 28, 1925, in Richmond, VA, died December 21, 2013. He was preceded in death by his parents Thomas F. and Mabel M. Jenkins; wives, Alease Hufner Jenkins and Mary Thurston Jenkins. He is survived by two brothers, Vernon Ray Jenkins, of Williamsburg, VA, Robert M. Jenkins (Marion), of Chesterfield, VA; two sisters, Marjorie J. Snellings, of Richmond, VA, Phyllis J. Harmon, of Sacramento, CA; and many nieces and nephews. Mr. Jenkins served his country in the U.S. Navy, WW II, Pacific, and was retired from Reynolds Metals Co., South Plant, Electrician and Mechanical Resources (EMR). He was a member of the Masonic Lodge AF&AM #216, Sandston, VA. The family will receive friends on Friday, December 27, 2013 from 5-7 pm, with a Masonic service at 6pm at Nelsen Funeral Home, 4650 S. Laburnum Ave. Richmond, VA 23231. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, December 28, 2013 at 11 am. at Washington Memorial Park.
