LITTLE, Lloyd Charles, Sr., 70, of Henrico, formerly of Pikeville, Ky., went home to be with the Lord on Monday, September 23, 2013. He was preceded in death by his mother, Lena Branham and step-father, Alfred Branham; and brother, Lindsey Lee Little. Mr. Little had a green thumb and enjoyed lending a hand to his neighbors with the upkeep of their yards, and he was an avid guitarist and listener of bluegrass music. Mr. Little is survived by his sons, Louis Lee Moore IV and Lloyd Charles “Chuck” Little II (Angela May); daughters, Veronica Lynn Newton (Kenneth C.) and Lynette Marie Moore; grandchildren, Jennifer Lynn Hollis, Louis Lee Moore V, Joel Stephen Little, Elisabeth Rene Little, and Marrisa Lynn Schultz; great-grandson, Mark Hollis; and a host of other family members. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, September 26, 2013 at Nelsen Funeral Home, 4650 S. Laburnum Avenue Richmond, Va 23231, where a funeral service will be held on Friday, September 27, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Flat Rock Baptist Church Cemetery in Louisbarg, NC.
