Loring V. "Peanut" Moyer

Loring V. "Peanut" Moyer, 92, of Sandston, passed away on Friday, April 13, 2018. He was born in Luray, Va. to the late Ernest and Mammie Moyer. Loring was preceded in death by his wife, Edythe Snider Moyer. He was a member of Sandston Baptist Church and former President of the Rotary Club. Left to cherish his memory are his daughter, Deborah Harrison (Wayne); granddaughter, Holly Scroggins (Spencer); great granddaughter, Ashley; two nephews; and one niece. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, April 17, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Nelsen Funeral Home, 4650 S. Laburnum Ave., Richmond, Va. 23231, where a funeral service will be held on Wednesday at 2 p.m. Interment will follow in Washington Memorial Park.
