Louis Wallace Barlow

BARLOW, Louis Wallace, 82, of Varina, born March 8, 1936, went to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on December 25, 2018. He was preceded in death by his parents, Andrew and Doris Prairie Barlow; grandmother, Ida Barlow; and his son, James Andrew (Andy) Barlow. He is survived by his loving wife, Rochelle Phelps Barlow; son, John Ashley Barlow (Lisa), three grandchildren, Andrew Lee Barlow (Melissa), Ashley Ann Chandler, and Anthony Joseph Trimyer; five great-grandchildren, Genna, Zayne, Kellen, Aydn, and Anthony. He was employed as an electrician by Edgar M. Andrews, Thalhimers, Crestar Bank, City of Richmond, and was retired from Henrico County. He raised show birds for the state fair of Virginia as well as pheasants and peacocks. He attended Ray of Hope Church and enjoyed working with the kids in vacation bible school. The family will receive friends Sunday, December 30th, 2018 from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. at Nelsen Funeral Home, 4650 S. Laburnum Avenue, Richmond, VA, 23231 where a service will be held Monday, December 31, 2018 at 2 p.m. Interment will follow at Washington Memorial Park, Sandston, Va.
