He was preceded in death by his mother, Evelyn Barger (Crawford) Wood; father, Oliver Burns Wood, Jr.; and brother, David Alan Wood. Mark was a member of Four Mile Creek Baptist Church and he enjoyed fishing and spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.
Left to cherish his memory are his partner, Susan Bowery; daughter, Danielle Wood (Miguel Valle); son, Adam Wood; brother, Charles Michael “Mike” Wood (Sally); grandchildren, Josiah, Audrianna, Constantino; niece, April; nephew, Sean; as well as a host of extended family and friends.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, August 9, 2024 at Four Mile Creek Baptist Church with a Fish Fry to follow.
