Mary Nelson Yancey, 82, of Richmond, entered into eternal rest on Monday, March 26, 2018. She leaves to cherish her memory her daughter, Marilyn Bartels (Isaac); grandson, Ekow Bartels; two sisters; two brothers; as well as several nieces, nephews, other extended family, and friends. A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. on Saturday, April 21, 2018, at Nelsen Funeral Home, 4650 S. Laburnum Ave., Richmond, Va. 23231, where the family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Grove Avenue Baptist Missionary Fund.
