ARNOLD, Nancy Jean, 76, of Henrico, Va., passed away on Friday, January 6, 2017, in Richmond, Va. She was born in Bassett, Va. on October 19, 1940. Nancy was preceded in death by her parents, Hollis and Mary Bess Maye; brothers, Julian and Michael Maye; sisters, Mildred Jones and Betty Jo Coates; and daughter, Deborah Tulisiak. She is survived by her devoted husband of 41 years, Robert Edwin Arnold; daughter, Christina Ordonia (Daniel); and sisters, Harriet Nuckols and Mary Poole (George). Nancy will always be remembered by her loving grandchildren, Tony Layne Jr., Jessica Barnett (Justin), Lindsey Heller (Luke) and Ashley Green (Nathan). She was also a favorite of her many nieces, nephews and great-grandchildren, who had the joy of knowing her bright spirit and wit before she went to be with the Lord. A visitation will be held from 2 to 4 p.m. Thursday, January 12, at Nelsen Funeral Home, 4650 S. Laburnum Ave., Richmond, Va. 23231. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, at Four Mile Creek Baptist Church, 2950 New Market Rd., Henrico, Va. 23231, with interment to follow in the church cemetery.
