Peggy Bryan Nuckols, 65, of Highland Springs, went to be with the Lord on Friday, October 23, 2015 with her family by her side. She is preceded in death by her parents, George and Audrey Bryan and brother, Wayne Bryan. She is survived by her husband of 48 years, Wayne; four children, Greg Nuckols (Holly), Kevin Nuckols, Chad Nuckols, and Carrie Stone (Wayne); grandchildren, Gage, Desiree, and Natalie; siblings, Virgil Bryan and Renee Ervin; and a special cousin, Thelma Sutton. Peggy was proud of her Pamunkey Indian Heritage. Being a creative woman, she loved crafting, sewing and cooking. Most of all, she loved spending time with her family and friends. The family will receive friends Wednesday, Oct. 28, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at Nelsen Funeral Home, 4650 S. Laburnum Ave., Richmond, VA 23231 where services will be held Thursday, Oct. 29, at 2 p.m. Interment will follow in Washington Memorial Park, Sandston.
