She was preceded in death by her father, Robert Wood; and her brother, Michael Wood.
Sherry graduated from Highland Springs High School. She enjoyed reading, crafts, puzzles and fishing.
Left to cherish her memory are her husband, Ricky L. Hutchinson; mother, Marie Coleman; nephews, Jay and Jerry Wood and Justin Hutchinson; numerous other nieces and nephews and extended family members and friends.
The family will receive friends on Sunday, March 6, 2022 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Nelsen Funeral Home, 4650 S. Laburnum Ave., Richmond, Va. 23231, where a service will be held on Monday, March 7, 2022 at 1 p.m. Interment will follow in Signal Hill Memorial Park, 12360 Hanover Courthouse Rd., Hanover, Va. 23069.
