TATE, Sybil Adair, 83 of Varina, VA passed away on December 27, 2014 at home. She is preceded in death by her husband, Hugh Tate Sr.; sons, Hugh Tate Jr. and Dennis Tate. Sybil was an associate for WalMart for 15 years. She was passionate about her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren and especially her flowers and gardening. She survived by her son, Donald L. Tate; grandchildren, Randolph Tate, Emily (Donald) Maxim, Rocky Tate, Hunter Tate, Donnie (Heather) Tate, Jodi (Sam) Allen, Kevin (Melissa) Tate; great-grandchildren, Donald Maxim III, Faith Maxim, Owen Maxim, Kara Allen, Zach Allen, Cooper Tate, Kevin Tate Jr., Ryan Tate, Hannah Tate and Isabella Tate; and a host of additional family and friends. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 30, from 6:00 – 8:00pm at Nelsen Funeral Home, 4650 S. Laburnum Ave. Richmond, with a graveside service on Wednesday, December 31 at 11:00am at Washington Memorial Park, 6217 Memorial Drive, Sandston, VA 23150.
