Thomas Earl Carver

CARVER, Thomas Earl, age 88, of Henrico, passed away on Saturday, March 24, 2018. He served in the United States Army. Earl was retired from Reynolds Metals and was a member of the Mechanicsville Baptist Church. He was a resident of the Masonic Home of Virginia, 33rd Degree Mason, past Master of Henrico Union Lodge #130, also the Acca Temple. Earl was preceded in death by his wife, Renva Joyce McGhee Carver; parents, Abbott Franklin Carver and Annie Elsie Mann; sister, Eunice Inez; and brothers, Alexander Franklin and David Keith. He is survived by his sisters, Joyce May Beninghove (John) and Ada Lee Wilson (Brian); brother, Donald Abbott (Emily); son, Vincent Keith Carver (Mary); as well as four beautiful, loving granddaughters and their families. A visitation will be held on Thursday from 2pm to 4pm and from 6pm to 8pm with Masonic Services to take place at 7pm at Nelsen Funeral Home, 4650 S. Laburnum Ave., Richmond, Va., 23231. A funeral service will be held on Friday at 12pm in the funeral home chapel with interment to follow at Washington Memorial Park in Sandston, Va.
