EWING, VIRGINIA JORDAN, 99, of Fredericksburg, formerly of Midlothian died Saturday, March 9, 2024. She was preceded in death by her husband, Allen Wesley Ewing, Jr.; brothers, Louis Robert Jordan, Jr. and Sterling Wendel Jordan; daughter, Wendalyn E. Shockley; and granddaughter, Mary Virginia Pancotti.
She was a bookkeeper for Barber Veterinary Supply and was an active member of Mt. Pisgah Methodist Church in Midlothian, VA. for over 65 years. She graduated from Varina High School, and from Business School. Virginia was always helping others.
She is survived by her daughter, Wenda Ewing Pancotti (Rolando); son-in-law Mark Shockley; grandson, Louis Pancotti (Elizabeth); and sister-in-law, Phyllis W. Jordan.
The family will receive friends Monday, March 18 from 11 am until service time at 12 pm at Nelsen Funeral Home, 4650 S. Laburnum Ave. Interment will follow in Washington Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made in her name to Cystic Fibrosis Foundation – Virginia Chapter, 7202 Glen Forest Dr., Suite 102, Richmond, VA 23226.
